‘The Theotokos’ Greek Catholic Melkite Church is located on Star Street in the Old City of Bethlehem and was built in 1956. During his visit to Bethlehem in 1964, Pope Paul VI donated a precious library to the Church.
In English, the name of this Church is "The Mother of Jesus Christ". "The Theotokos" is also referred to by her name, "Mary".
